Civic Hall and Streetlives welcome RDJ Refugee Shelter, Safari Yangu, and immigrant community partners for a discussion on homelessness and housing from the perspective of refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers.

Featuring immigrant activists and community organizers, topics will include culturally specific issues around taboos, gender identity and immigration-related discrimination, and explore ways to bring the voices, perspectives, and feedback of immigrants who are homeless into service design.

The session will look for opportunities for community action and technology solutions that are inclusively designed and built with and by immigrant, refugee, and asylum populations.
